June 21st Weather Update @ 7:15 AM

The following fields are currently planning to start as scheduled at 9:00 AM.

-Iowa Western Community College Baseball
-University of Nebraska Omaha Tal Anderson

All other fields are currently being evaluated and the next update will be sent out by 8:00 AM.

If you are not scheduled to play at one of the fields confirmed to start, please do not head to the fields until notified to do so.

Werner Park Reminders & Facility Policies
Please review the following reminders and updates for all teams, coaches, players, and spectators attending events at Werner Park.

Baseball Field Reminders
-Players should not use the aprons (the areas from 1st base to behind home plate and from 3rd base to behind home plate) for warm-ups, playing catch, or other activities.
-Upon arrival, teams should remain on the warning track and avoid cutting across the grass or infield.
-Pitchers may not dig into or scrape the edges of the mound with their cleats, and batters may not damage the area around home plate. We must maintain the integrity of the clay surface and professional field standards.
-Only the lower bullpen (two lanes) will be available for use.
-The Whiffle Ball Field may be used for team warm-ups.
-All players, coaches, and umpires must enter and exit through Gate 1 (Main Gate). This will be the only entry and exit point throughout the day.
-Barriers will be placed along the first- and third-base concourse areas. Only players and coaches are permitted beyond these blockades.
-Baseball bags are the standard 15-inch high school-style bags.
-Stadium gates will open at 6:45 AM, but players will not be permitted onto the field until 7:00 AM.

Werner Park Facility Policies
-Werner Park is primarily a cashless facility.
-All bags must be clear vinyl or PVC and no larger than 16" x 16" x 8".
-Small wallets or clutch purses under 6.5" x 6.5" x 4.5" are permitted.
-Small camera bags, medical bags, and diaper bags are allowed.
-All bags are subject to inspection at security checkpoints.

Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted inside Werner Park:
-Outside beverages
-Coolers (hard or soft)
-Lawn chairs
-Outside food (except when required for medical needs)
-Professional photography equipment without a media pass

Permitted Items
Guests may bring:
-Blankets
-Empty refillable water bottles
-Point-and-shoot cameras
-Personal handheld umbrellas
