Southern Sports "COASTAL WORLD SERIES" Schedule

Please make sure that your team understands the policy on lodging at the Coastal World Series. Below is the section from World Series webpage.....please follow these guidelines:

STAY TO PLAY EVENT
This is a "stay to play event". Any team traveling over 75 miles to play IS REQUIRED to stay in one of the tournament hotels. The majority of all area hotels and resorts will be options for teams.

If a team chooses to opt out of the "stay to play" program (and make their own reservations), there will be a $250 per team fee to opt-out with no exception.
When we designed this tournament, we tried to make the entry fee as inexpensive as possible. Most teams will need lodging for this event, so by using a travel partner, this was a way to reduce the entry fee. But we understand that some teams will want to rent homes, use hotel points, etc., so that's why we offer both.

A team will have considered meeting this requirement by booking 35 rooms (12 rooms a night x 3 nights).

We will determine final age groups by May 25. Do not book anything that doesn't allow you to cancel your rooms without a fee prior to that date.

We encourage teams to trade pins with other teams.

The players always enjoy trading pins, so we encourage everyone to participate. We typically have told teams to get about 20 pins per player.

The Coastal World Series t-shirts will be available for pick-up at the onsite director's tent on the day of the tournament.

JERSEYS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE EVENT AS THEY ARE AVAILABLE ONLY THROUGH PRE-ORDER.
