NYEB Red White & Blue 9u-18u Schedule

Coaches-

The game schedule for tomorrow is now posted. We took Todays game schedule and just rolled it into Sunday.

All teams will be playing 2 games. The team with the best record and tie breakers will be awarded first place. The team with the next best record and tie breakers will be awarded second place.

We thank you for your patience this weekend as the amount of rain along with numerous severe storms was a challenge. Our goal is always to get teams to play competitive games on Tournament weekend (even if it gets shortened by Mother Nature).

To clarify an email we received today regarding field work being done at Kristi Babcock Park:

1. We started work at the Park approximately 1pm. This was due to a few factors (trying to let some water dry on it's own, the threat of early storms this afternoon, etc).

2. Realize this park is managed by the town which means they hold ultimate decisions on scheduling

3. Just because a field looks like it could be played on doesn't mean it is able to. Throwing bags of Speedy Dry on a field that is saturated does no good. Heat, Sun and wind help more.

Looks like all fields will be up & running for Sunday. I will have the schedule posted in the next hour BUT it will be exactly the same fields and times you were playing on today.

More details in the next hour!!!!

All-

Todays games are canceled due to the storms we are now experiencing. We will be evaluating the conditions of the fields this afternoon to see if we can run a ONE DAY event for Sunday.

We will not know this until approximately 3-4pm as we need the rain to stop this morning and ground crews to evaluate and work on fields.

At this time be prepared to play on Sunday the schedule you we going to play today.

Communication will be out this afternoon.

We just got word that ALL games for Saturday at Kristi Babcock (Fields #2, #3 and #4) are canceled for today.

Games that were on Kristi Babcock Field #1 have been moved to Town of Newburgh Little League Field #6.

We are momitoring some severe storms that may be hitting our area over the next 2 hours and will update ANY other field changes or cancelations as soon as we are able to.

Schedules are now posted for the 7/6 & 7/7 NYEB Red, White & Blue Tournament.
