Thank you for your patience and sorry for all the delays as we had to manually update several of the brackets, All schedules on the app and brackets are accurate. Scores and standings may not be accurate in all age groups so don't worry about those. Scores going forward will be accurate again. Most importantly thank you all for coming to the Inagural Banana Bash tournament. We have had a great time this weekend and we have learned a lot in the process. We have heard great feedback and I cant recall seeing so many kids and parents having this type of fun at a baseball tournament. Enjoy tomorrow and good luck to all the teams.

Good morning! We have some great food trucks lined up for you all this weekend! I have attached a flyer with more details!
Drink stations: Water and Gatorade will be available exclusively at the drink stations near the food trucks at each park. These stations are CASH only.
Each park has breakfast/coffee options- so come early and stay late!

We're excited to play some banana ball baseball! I've had some questions and I just want to clarify for everyone.
1. We do not have heat index rules or guidelines. Coaches, you can bring coolers for ice, drinks and towels for your team to stay cool and hydrated.
2. There is no gate fee.
3. If there are any runners on base and the batter walks, all runners get to run until the ball goes around the horn (9-11u) and all defensive players must touch the ball (12-14u) before a play can be made on any runners. The pitcher and catcher DO NOT have to re-catch the ball ONLY the 4 or 7 other defensive players per age group.
4. Costume judging will be done Saturday during pool play. Play (clean) music and have FUN!!!!

Parking at our event is free- with that being said, our organization relies on our concession sales! There is a strict no coolers or grills at the Banana Bash Tourney. We appreciate your understanding! There will be 6 food trucks between the two parks (maps and menus to follow soon) and water/Gatorade stations throughout both parks. Thank you!
A few people missed the shirt order deadline, so the store has been reopened until Sunday at midnight. If you sent a message to us with a late order- those have been submitted- there is no need to reorder.

Banana Bash baseball is STILL baseball! The twist on rules makes a fun and memorable weekend for everyone. We follow all USSSA rules- with the exception of some that will be outlined closer to the event. We will have amazing food vendors all weekend- we will also have rewards for bracket winners, best dressed (get creative) and more to be announced! Spectators, players, coaches and umpires will all love this event!

General Information
This tournament will be held at two parks- both within a few minutes of each other. The fields are well maintained. Umpires will be trained on Banana Ball rules- rules will also be posted at each field so spectators can follow along as well.
Food and drink vendors will be at each field.
Rules specific to your age bracket, as well as maps of fields and vendors will be available after registration closes.
Rules are subject to change/adjusting per age group- but will be similar to the following:
Pitching Limits:
8u- coach pitch
9u, 10u - 75 pitches
11u, 12u -85 pitches
13-15u- 95 pitches
Banana Ball Rules:
1. Every Inning counts. The winner of the inning (by most runs in that inning) gets a point. One bad inning? No problem- get the next one! This also means that as soon as the home team scores more than the visitor in that inning the inning is over. its a walk-off inning! Most points at the end of the game (6 innings) wins the game.
2. Time Limits
8-12u- 70 minute games
13u and up- 80 minute
3. No Stepping out of the box. Stepping out is a strike
4. No Bunting. If you bunt you are out.
5. Batters can steal first base- only on passed balls and at thier own risk.
6. No Walks- we refer to them as sprints. 4 balls causes the runner to sprint as fast as he can and take as many bags as he can prior to the defense throwing the ball to all defensive players.
This rule is adjusted per age group and will be defined after registration.
7. No mound visits and only 2 warm up pitches in half inning.
8. If a fan catches a foul ball, the batter is out. No ricochets- pure catches only.
9. 1 on 1 show down tie breakers (adjusted per age group)
