Welcome to the 2026 Bluegrass Bash Home Run Derby presented by D-BAT Lexington! Prepaid reservations are available but NOT required to participate. Online reservation sale ends July 31, 10:00pm. Onsite ticket sales end Aug 1, 9:00pm; all paid ticket holders will be allowed to compete.

General Information

Bluegrass Little League and Rangers Baseball Club are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Bluegrass Bash Home Run Derby presented by D-BAT Lexington. Come swing for the fences at this exciting event hosted at Cardinal Run Park in Lexington, KY. Proceeds benefit Bluegrass LL and Rangers Baseball Club.

Event Details
* Divisions are based on participant’s age as August 1, 2026.
* Hit-&-Go format. Participants are NOT expected to attend for the duration of the event. Arrive any time, complete your hitting session(s), then depart. Winners will be notified via text to arrange for prize pickup/delivery.
* All bats must meet USSSA, USABat, or BBCOR standards. Wood bats are permitted in all age divisions.
     o  Age 6 thru Age 12 Divisions              USSSA, USABat, or BBCOR
     o  Teen Divisions (13-14 & 15-17)         Must use BBCOR bat (-3)
     o  Adult Division (18+)                           Must use wood bat
* Batted balls clearing the following distances in the air count as Home Runs:
     o  Age 6                                                 Outfield grass at ~70-90’
     o  Age 7                                                 Outfield grass at ~80-100’
     o  Age 8                                                 Outfield grass at ~90-110’
     o  Age 9                                                 Fence distance at ~135’
     o  Age 10                                               Fence distance at ~135’
     o  Age 11                                               Fence distance at ~190’
     o  Age 12                                               Fence distance at ~190’
     o  Age 13-14                                          Fence distance at ~205’ (BBCOR)
     o  Age 15-17                                          Fence distance at ~205’ (BBCOR)
     o  Adult (18+)                                         Fence distance at ~205’ (Wood)
* Participants will have 3 minutes -OR- 30 pitches, whichever comes first.
* No warm-up pitches or swings are permitted. Batting cages are available for warmup.
* Participants will use their own pitcher.
* Prizes will be awarded for 1st & 2nd place in each division.
* Prepaid reservations are available but NOT required (non-refundable).
