No seeds at any turf facilities. Parents even if you are spitting the seeds outside the field the wind will blow the seeds on the field at some point.

WEATHER UPDATES WILL BE SENT OUT VIA EXPOSURE. WITH EVERY GAME THIS WEEKEND ON TURF, WE WILL BE SHOWING UP AND TRYING TO PLAY. WE UNDRSTAND IT IS CURRENTLY RAINING BUT THE FORECAST IS CALLING FOR IT TO BE LIGHT AND ON AND OFF.

Please look at the picture that has a star for how to get to the field at the Dome. Please go to the end of the parking lot to park and walk where the star is. Please do not walk through the putt putt course.

BELOW ARE RULES FOR FIRESTONE STADIUM AND PONY FIELD GIVEN TO US BY THE CITY OF AKRON.

1. The Stadium Complex has 4 Batting Cages. All Pre Game Hitting must be done in the cages. Hitting Nets are not allowed on the fields

2. Each Field has 2 Bullpens. Pitchers are required to warm up in the bullpen area. Pitchers are not allowed to warm up on the field

3. Pre Game - Playing Catch, Ground Balls and Fly Balls are allowed on the field but must be in the green outfield area of each field. No ground balls allowed or playing catch permitted in front of the dugout

4. No Metal cleats or high heeled shoes are alloed on the turf fields

5. No hitting, throwing, or kicking balls or other objects against any if the fencing on or around the turf area

6. No stakes, flags, poles, or other sharp objects that may cause damage to the turf are allowed

7. No banner is to be hung on or around the fields

8. No motorized vehicles, bikes, skateboards, or other devices are allowed on or around the turf area

9. No outside chairs, benches, tents, or other like objects are allowed on the turf field

10. No animals(dogs or pets of any kind) are allowed

11. No food is permitted on the turf, included but not limited to: gum, sunflower seeds, etc

12. Only water in non breakable containers is permitted(no glass containers or alluminum cans)

13. Marking, painting, or taping on the turf is strictly prohibited

14. Smoking and chewing tobacco in parking lot area only

15. Heaters, grills, or other open cooking structures are prohibited on or around turf area

16. Teams are responsible for leaving the field and dugout areas clean and ready for the next user, inspect and remove anything left by your players or spectators.

17. If a team has left the field without cleaning up or has allowed sunflower seeds and/or gum on the turf, A CLEANING FEE WILL BE CHARGED.

PLEASE RESPECT THE FACILITY AND THE RULES. WE WANT TO CONTINUE TO ALLOW THE PLAYERS TO PLAY AT NICE FACILITIES, AND THESE RULES MUST BE FOLLOWED.
