Diamond Dash Round Robin Documents

First of all I would like to welcome you to the Diamond Dash. My name is Christopher Bormann, and I am the tournament director at OAW Indoor Sports facility. You will find the rules attached. If you have not completed the waivers yet, no worries there is still time. If it is not recorded by your first game, you will not be able to play until it is received. Please check your schedule as the times have changed.

I am here to help make your tournament more enjoyable and to answer all your questions. Please see the links below and the facility/game play rules attached to the email. If there is an issue at the facility, please let me know and I will handle it. If a parent has an issue they are to go to the head coach and we will work together to resolve it.

A few reminders,

Ø There is a gate-fee for all spectators. The gate is cashless. Doors will open at 7am

o $10 for adults’ single day/$15 for the weekend
o $5 for seniors/veterans
o $5 per person between the ages of 13-18
o No charge for the players, coaches (max three coaches per team per day), and children 12 and under.

Ø The following items are prohibited from being brought in

o Weapons
o Wagons/equipment carts
o Outside food and beverages
o Non-service animals
o Tobacco is prohibited anywhere inside the facility.
o Cleats (No cleats allowed)

Please make sure this message is forwarded to your team to avoid any issues on gameday. We will be going to a cashless gate entry system for next weekend's event. You can prebuy your tickets here:

You will receive an email after purchase with a QR Code that you will show to our gate personnel to receive your wristband. You can buy as many as you need and forward the code to anyone you are buying for like a grandparent or friend/relative. Once a ticket is redeemed it cannot be used again, but the code can be used again if multiple tickets are on there. This will make entry on gameday go faster than if buying at the gate. We will not accept any cash payments at the gate if you do not prebuy will need to have a credit card to purchase at the gate

Rules are in the documents section. More details will come from the tournament director a week before the tournament. We changed from a round robin to a 2 pool play games and then 1 game where the first place teams in each pool play for championship, 2nd place teams in each pool play for 3rd and 3rd place teams in each pool play for Consolation. That way each team only plays 3 games total for sure since we only have 1 day to complete and not wanting to tax teams to early in the season. Any questions before then feel free to reach out to us.
