All -
The schedule for State has been released. Reminder that this is a full 3 day event for youth and 4 full day event for High School - teams are scheduled to play during the day on Thursday (high school) and Friday (youth) with the exception of a few smaller divisions.
Our goal this season has been to create a culminating event that takes into account how teams have preformed during the other weekends, qualified for a specific bracket and then used their overall rankings to group them with their most similarly performing teams through last weekend.
A more detailed event email will follow (likely on Monday) but in the meantime, please be on the lookout for your game changer links to join this event!
All youth questions can be directed towards Arlo Evasick at arlo.evasick@toptiersports.net and high school questions to Kelly Gau at kelly.gau@toptiersports.net
Good luck to everyone at State next weekend.
All - locations for state have been set... Please see the name of your division to see general location (fields being allocated soon) and to make sure you are in the correct division. If you have finished 1-2 in any tournament or top 4 of the Art Wright, you should be in the qualified division. If you are a more competitive team and have performed well in our events, there is a chance we moved you up to a better bracket for competitive purposes.
How the event will work: Whenever doable, divisions will be spit into groupings of 8 team double elimination brackets based on current standings (ELO). This event is slated to be played ALL 3 days, Fri - Sun (8-14u) and 4 days Th - Sun (15-18u),starting as early as 10:00am on Friday. All teams must be available to play in the AM on Friday. Not everyone will get a morning game, but the expectation is teams are able to play that day. We need 3 full days to complete a double elimination tournament bracket without the potential of teams playing more than 2-3 games in a day.
If you have any questions or need any changes, please let us know immediately as everythign will get set and finalized after the conclusion of this weekends' event.
All –
You are currently registered for the State Championships. Registrations will close down Monday and we will begin allocating divisions to locations. Divisions will be split into the most competitive double elimination brackets based on rankings and qualified teams (1/2 in events) and not. Reminder that this is a full 3 day event for youth (8-14u) and 15-18u will start Thursday evening.
Knowing who is in and who is out is essential for making this work well and creating a truer state championship format. If you are unpaid by Monday, you will be moved to a waiting list and we will get in if we can. If we do not here back, you will be removed as we will just assume you are out. Once we have confirmation of who is in and who is out, we will have locations per bracket set and communicate to everyone. Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!
