A few last minute reminders as we begin play this evening. A special shout out to all the moms in attendance this weekend. We appreciate all the moms that make all of this happen!

Rules

Top Tier App / Website - This is the official game host of the event. Schedules and scores on here are official. Gamechanger is a supplement to the event ot link teams together and use the data to create all tournament teams.

Gamechanger - please ensure that you are scoring each game within the Top Tier Created Tournament. Gamechanger is the official record for pitchers. If there is a discrepency, and there sometimes is, we have the ability to view both scorebooks (even though only one is publicly facing). A common mistake made is the red team plays the blue team. The blue team fails to make a pitching change on behalf of the red team and therefore it has their pitcher going for an inaccurate number of pitches.

Protests - protests can be made for rule interpretations, rosters, and pitching counts. Protests are made by the head coach only AND are accompanied by $100 cash. Before the next pitch, stop the game, tell the umpire you are protesting and he or she will signal for the site director. Information will be gathered and a ruling will be made. If you win your protest, the money is refunded. If you lose your protest the money is forfeited.
Protests are not:
- phone calls
- clarifying questions
- complaining
- sending a parent for more information
- bringing it up after the fact.

Zero Tolerance Policies -
We have seen an uptick in open alcohol containers at the fields. Anyone incident with alcohol will result in the immediate removal from the individuals for the entire weekend. A second incident with alcohol will result in the immediate removal of the team.
Furthermore, metal spikes and sunflower seeds/shelled nuts will never be allowed on turf fields or on turf mounds. The player and head coach will be immediately ejected for that game if a metal spike or sunflower seed infraction is found.
We have already lost access to a school district facility for empty alcohol containers found in garbages and seeds on fields.

Sportsmanship and Behavior -Top Tier Sports will not tolerate any mistreatment towards officials, staff, or any participant at any point in time, by anyone.Top Tier Sports is committed to ruling on all conflicts in a way that is both (1) fair to the teams involved and (2) good for the tournament as a whole. All conflicts will be discussed amongst our staff to determine the best course of action.

Awards Package
Top Tier Sports will award a set of rings, a team banner, and (1) mvp to the championship team.
The runner-up will be awarded a set of medals.
Winners of the silver bracket will also be awarded a set of medals.

Please ensure your team has joined the poper division (you caan do a quick double check on the Top Tier app or website) by Monday, May 4th! Please note that game schedules cannot be uploaaded to GameChanger until ALL teams have joined the correct division.

Coaches
We have split the divisions into competive flights and are starting to identify locations. You'll see them in the division names in the coming days
(Ex. 10u AAA - Sirius).

In order to get this scheduled published by mid-week next week, please make sure the following is handled.
1) Double check your teams placement and let us know if you feel you are misplaced by this weekend!
2) Entry fees need to be paid by Monday 4/27, or you will be moved to the wait list.
3) Rosters on exposure before the start of thte tournament
