We are excited to begin outdoor play this weekend with Top Tier Season Opener February 28 and March 1. Be sure to share the app and give the tournament a favorite/follow to receive real-time updates.

Cold Weather Advisory
This is an early season event, which means we could see cold and wet conditions. Please make sure your team comes prepared with appropriate cold-weather gear.

Weather Updates, as they become known, will be communicated through the app and posted under "MESSAGES"

All of the fields in play, with the exception of Dacca 3, Dacca 4, and Heritage 4 are turf. Metal spikes will not be allowed on turf fields.
All of the turf fields will be played as scheduled, with final decisions by Site Supervisor at each location as well as umpires.

Stevens 1-2: Turf Infield, Grass Outfield
Rac 1-5: Turf Infield, Grass Outfield (no pets)

Bat Rules
Top Tier Sports will allow the following bats:
BPF 1.15 stamp (13u and younger)
USA stamped bats (13u and younger)
BBCOR (14u mandatory)

GameChanger
We will be using GameChanger to track stats throughout the event and to help determine All-Tournament Teams. GameChanger links/invites have been sent out. If you have any questions, please reach out. We will post the schedules to gamechanger once the final teams join. If you haven't done so, please complete asap.

That said, we do not operate as a “Stay to Play” event — you are welcome to book accommodations through any provider of your choice.

Gate Fees
There will be no gate fees for this tournament — families and fans can enjoy the weekend without additional entry costs.

Tournament Rules
Tournament rules can be accessed using the link below. Please note the following key points:
9U–12U: No New Inning after 1 hour 45 minutes
13U-14U: No New Inning after 2 hours
Mercy Rules:
12 runs after 3 innings
10 runs after 4 innings
8 runs after 5 innings
All other rules follow the Top Tier Sports Rulebook, supplemented by Official Baseball Rules (MLB) for anything not covered in our rulebook.

Rosters & Waivers
All players must be added to your active roster and have a completed waiver signed prior to the event.
Players not listed on the roster with a completed waiver will not be eligible to participate.

Zero Tolerance Policy on Alcohol
Top Tier Sports maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy on alcohol at all events. If alcohol is seen or consumed at any of our complexes, it will result in immediate ejection from the event. Please ensure your teams, families, and fans are aware of this policy.

Umpires
There will be two umpires assigned to every game. We ask that all coaches and teams remain respectful toward our officials. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Let’s keep the focus on the players and the game.

We have managed to get almost all games on turf. If weather is looking "iffy" week of the tournament, we will see if we can get any more.

Reminder

Payment deadline TOMORROW 1/28 for Top Tier Season Opener.
Schedule is going to be put out in the next couple of days. We have found a few more turf fields so hoping to put as many games as possible on turf.

For 13u and 14u we may look to start with a game Friday evening. If that is problematic for your group, please let me know.

After the payment deadline we will post age locations but need to get the numbers dialed.
