14u is canceled.

8u is playing and has a modified schedule. This will be played Saturday and no games Sunday. 3 games for each team. All games will be 6 innings or 90 minutes.

Some areas received as much as an inch of rain last night and that crushed all of the work we did getting ready for the weekend.

13u is canceled.
12u is canceled.
11u is canceled.
10u is canceled.
9u is canceled.

The forecast is also calling for rain late Saturday and all day Sunday.

Unfortunately, we are not able to walk on those to be able to do the work necessary to make fields playable, combined with no sun, and not enough wind to assist us...it isn't possible to get the fields playable.

8u and 14u have a small shot to be played and now that it has stopped raining, we will evaluate those fields.

Here are the options if you would like to use your credit this year or you may save it for next year too. I can easily slide you into any of those weekends.

9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, and 13u have all been updated in Saturday's schedule.

8u and 14u have no changes.

We have lost some fields and we are modifying the schedules in hopes of surviving the 6 hours of rain tonight. Keep your fingers crossed and I will send an update by 11am Friday after the rain has stopped and we can assess the fields. A couple fields are extremely tender and might not survive the overnight rain.

9u, 10u, 11u, 12u, and 14u will be 6 innings 0r 90 minutes (finish the inning for Saturday games)

We are looking at all possible options right now with the goal and expectation of playing every game possible.

There is also rain in the forecast Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. That rain could influence some things, as well, but as of today this is what it looks like:

14u should be good as is.
13u should be good but could get tweeked, in terms of scheduling. The forecasted rain could influence this age group.
11u and 12u have the most question marks as of now. Hoyt Park has a lot of water and would seem to be unplayable. That is what we are monitoring the most and exploring alternative options.
10u should be good as is.
9u should be good as is but the forecasted rain could impact this group the most.
8u should be good as is.

The fields that are currently playable are incredibly soft as this point so the rain in the forecast the next couple days could play a part in field availability.

This is the best information I can provide at this point. If any teams would prefer to lock in a credit now and explore another possibility for the weekend, I am open to the communication from your head coach.

As some of you are well aware, we received an awful lot of rain lately and Saginaw County and surrounding areas are flooded and impacting some fields.

There is also rain in the forecast today, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with Friday being the worst day in terms of forecasted rain.

When it is time to make decisions for the tournament and if we are able to play, the decisions will be made on a field-by-field basis and will be communicated through this messaging system. We have 20 fields scheduled to be played on and we will check each field every day this week.

The goal is always to play!

Reminder, if you are at a site that is canceled, you will receive a credit that is good for through the 2028 tournament season.

If you ordered a tournament t-shirt and you are canceled, the t-shirt will be mailed next week to the address in your order.

Saginaw Spring Fling I, April 11-12

12u, we lost one team but we are attempting to replace it. Schedule will show two teams with a game and no opponent. That will be corrected as soon as we can.

13u added a field for Saturday so 3 games were shifted to elimanate the late game at that site.

14u one field has been changed for Saturday.

We are only weeks away from playing outdoors! Wow!!
