Description

The Piestewa Games baseball tournament is a cornerstone of the Lori Piestewa National Native American Games, held each July at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa. Created to honor U.S. Army Specialist Lori Piestewa, the first Native American woman killed in combat, the event brings tribal communities together through sport, culture, and tradition.
