Good morning everyone,
GameChanger teams and tournaments have been created for all divisions of the Top Tier All-State Games!
To find your team in GC, simply search for "TT ASG <<DIVISION NAME>>" and select the correct team that comes up. For example, for Team C in the 14U Majors division, you would search for: "TT ASG 14U Majors". All of the teams in that division will appear in the search results. Choose the team your child is on to follow along!
Additionally, you can follow results for each individual tournament - to find those, search for "Top Tier All-State" and each individual tournament will be listed.
For those volunteering to score or stream games for their team, please let our staff know at check-in. We'll be able to set you up with all the access you need on-site.
Thanks again - looking forward to a great weekend of baseball!

Hello All,
IF you are signed up to participate (name is online in exposure) in the Northwest All-State Games Home Run Derby! There has been tons of communication coming in and out, so please do not reply to this email unless you need a name change because you are registered as your parents name still. We will have all the names competing listed on the app shortly.
What to Swing: If you can swing it, bring it. There are no bat restrictions for any of the divisions participating in this event.
When to Show Up: Check in for the HR derby is 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. There are a TON of people registered to participate in this event, we will go in alphabetical order. What if there is overlap with another skills competition? If you need complete the Road Runner or Team Golden Glove event while waiting to participate in the HR Derby, that is fine.
How will the HR Derby work: Every participant will need to provide their own pitcher. This could be a parent, sibling, coach – if you cannot provide one, we have staff who can throw but cannot guarantee quality BP. There will be 2 rounds for this event. Each round is 60 seconds long and the top 3 will advance to a final round to crown a champion. How does the scoring work?
8-10u: Will hit from somewhere between 150-175 feet (pitcher – second base area) on Heritage 4. All baseballs that make it to the fence (in the air or on the ground) will be scored 1 point. Every ball that goes over the fence will be scored 5 points. The Derby is won based on the score of the final round NOT an accumulative score from both rounds.
11-12u: Will hit from Homeplate on the respective field at the RAC. Distance is 200 feet. All baseballs that make it to the fence (in the air or on the ground) will be scored 1 point. Every ball that goes over the fence will be scored 5 points. The Derby is won based on the score of the final round NOT an accumulative score from both rounds.
13-14u: Will hit from Homeplate on field 2 at Borst. There will be 2 fences up. The first fence is 200ft and everything that clears this fence will be worth 1 point. The second fence is 275 feet and everything that clears this fence will be 5 points. The Derby is won based on the score of the final round NOT an accumulative score from both rounds.
Recap:
Bring any bat you want to swing, at any age level
Need to supply your own HR Derby pitcher
Derby is won in the final round, not an accumulative score
All participants will be expected to shag behind the fence and help pick up baseballs when prompted to
Again, please do not reply unless withdrawing from the HR Derby or Needing a name change.
Hello All,
IF registered to participate (you will see your name on the list of competitors in the app) in either one or both of the Road Runner and Golden Glove skills competition at the Northwest All-State Games. There has been tons of communication coming in and out so please do not reply unless you need to either cancel from the event or have a name change because you are still registered as your parents name and not the participants. Here is what you need to know regarding these events:
ROAD RUNNER: All participants should check in and be ready to run at the start of the event. Please be stretched and warmed up by the scheduled start time. All participants will run around the bases one time. We will have 2 stop watches on each set of bases to assure accuracy. We will not take an average time, this is only used as a backup in case there is a massive discrepancy between the two. The only participants who can run more than once would be if our staff feels there was an error in clocking it. We will take the top two times from the division and have them compete in a base race with one starting at 2nd and the other at Homeplate. The fastest time from the first round will choose their starting point. Whoever runs the bases the fastest in the final round will be the champion.
GOLDEN GLOVE – TEAM EVENT: Players will need to partner up with 3 other participants forming teams of 4. You can choose kids you play with or do not know, this is a great way to get to know other kids and get out of your comfort zone. How this event will work – each team of 4 will throw the baseball around the bases 3 times as fast as they can. Each participant MUST touch their base while in possession of the baseball or you will be given a 5 second penalty per error. If there is an overthrow, go get your baseball and continue.
If you or teammates are also signed up for another event, please communicate with our staff and we can do our best to accommodate. There may not be time for everyone to do everything so if you have to choose, please be prepared to miss an event. There is not a ton of overlap but for anyone who has been to something like this before, these events can run long. If you are signed up for 2 or 3 events, you may need to choose which one or two you really want to participate in.
Thank you and looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend.
All –
We are excited to be only a few days away from the Inaugural All-State Games. First and foremost, thank you for participating in this event and we will do our best to make it a great experience for the players. Here are a couple of details, reminders and updates about the event.
Please make sure to recheck the rosters / schedules. Between injuries, positional compositions of teams, making sure everyone had enough arms and balancing coaching staffs, there were some necessary changes. We are sorry for any last minute adjustments or if you got mixed up from your buddies but the changes were made for the betterment of the entire event.
Website for All-State Games schedules, rosters and updates: Northwest All-State Games
Game Changers if you want to score or stream, please let us know at check in so we can get you situated for your team. We tried to balance this as much as possible as well so every team would at least have someone to score. We will create the event in a Top Tier Tournament just like we have done all season, upload all rosters and will add the scorers / streamers upon check in.
Checking In Saturday please arrive / check in at the tents 1 hour and 15 minutes prior to your first game. Here you will receive an ASG Hat, ASG Shirt, ASG Sleeve and a pair of ASG TrueLinks slides. You will receive whatever size you registered for and each location will have a list printed off. For any players who registered after July 14th, we cannot guarantee the correct sizes or a pair of slides as that is when orders were placed. We did order extra of everything so odds are we will have something for everyone, even if a late add. Each tent will have 4 separate lines for each field, please make sure you line up for check in at the tent in the appropriate line.
What to Wear / Bring all players should wear the respective summer / travel ball uniforms. The shirts and hats we hand out are not meant to be worn in the games. All games 8-13u are played with BPF 1.15 bats and 14u is BBCOR or wood. The RAC and Borst Park are turf so NO SPIKES. Recommend pitchers wear turf shoes but rubber cleats will work too. Heritage is dirt / grass but since they are 8-10u, no metal spikes anyways. We will have baseballs in each dugout but during events like this, we always encourage players to bring their own baseball, always good to have!
Gameplay each team will bat their entire lineup and the lineup will continue in the next game where it left off from the first. We will tally the total number of available pitchers on each team and divide the total number of innings (18 or 21) by the amount of pitchers to determine how many innings everyone will throw. There will be a 5 run max for every inning for every age group. We will play the bottom half of every game no matter what the score is. No player should sit two consecutive innings in a row defensively. Also, it is important for kids to speak up and let coach now where they play – please have them communicate that with their coach. If there are any issues, please find one of the site supervisors to talk with, we will get it resolved.
Coaches are all volunteers who have been nominated by their peers and listed as part of the team name. Reminder that this event is meant to be a fun celebration for the players and a great / positive way to end the season… Please keep it this way!
Skills Competitions are posted on the schedule for each division. Check in is 30 minutes prior to the start of each skills competition. If participating in overlapping events, may need to choose one but we will do our best to accommodate. An overview of how each skills comp was sent out yesterday to all participants. If you are receiving this email and for any reason unable to attend, please let us know ASAP so we can plan and balance teams accordingly.
