Spectator Waiver Agreement

Spectator Waiver and Release of Liability By attending any Empire Sporting Events tournament or activity, I acknowledge and agree to the following: Assumption of Risk: I understand that attending sports events involves inherent risks, including potential injury or property damage. I voluntarily assume these risks and release Empire Sporting Events, its staff, organizers, and affiliates from any liability. Coach Responsibility: Coaches are responsible for the behavior of their spectators and parents. Any misconduct, including disrespect towards umpires, will result in immediate removal from the facility. Coaches will be held accountable for the actions of their team’s supporters. No Tolerance for Disrespect: Empire Sporting Events enforces a strict no-tolerance policy for any disrespectful behavior towards umpires. Anyone exhibiting such behavior will be removed from the event, and the coach may face additional consequences. Cancellation Policy: Teams must cancel prior to the release of the event schedule to receive a credit toward a future tournament. No refunds or credits will be given after the schedule has been distributed. Adherence to Rules: I agree to follow all event rules and regulations set forth by Empire Sporting Events. Failure to comply may result in removal from the venue. Media Consent: I consent to the use of my likeness in any media for promotional purposes related to the event. By completing the payment and attending the event, I agree to the terms outlined in this waiver

Who We Are Empire Sporting Events operates youth baseball and softball tournaments, camps, and sports programs across multiple states. Refund Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy Standard Cancellation Policy 100% Refund or Full Credit – If the tournament is canceled by Empire Sporting Events due to weather or insufficient team entries. 100% Refund – If a team withdraws 30 days or more prior to the tournament start date. 75% Refund or 100% Future Credit – If a team cancels 15–29 days before the tournament. 50% Refund or 100% Future Credit – If a team cancels 10–14 days before the tournament. No Refund – If a team cancels within 7 days of the event, or after the schedule has been posted and provided to the umpire crew. ⚠️ Exception Clause: In rare cases, a team that cancels within 72 hours of the event may be eligible for a 50% credit toward a future tournament, with a written explanation submitted to the Tournament Director. Approval is not guaranteed and is at the sole discretion of Empire Sporting Events. Teams that cancel after the 72-hour window and planned to pay on-site may be barred from future Empire events at the discretion of the Tournament Director. No Show = No Refund. Additionally, a team that fails to show without notice may be required to pay a mandatory 50% non-refundable deposit 45 days in advance for future events. Rainout Refund Policy If games are canceled due to weather after the tournament begins: 0 Games Played – Full refund 1 Game Played – 50% refund or 60% future credit 2+ Games Played – No refund; 30% credit toward a future Empire tournament 💡 It is the team manager’s responsibility to check for weather-related updates via the event feed tab on the tournament page at www.Empire702.com. Tournament directors are not required to contact teams individually. Tournament directors reserve the right to modify formats or schedules due to weather or field conditions in order to complete the event. Division Deletion & Balance Transfers Empire Sporting Events reserves the right to merge, adjust, or delete divisions based on registration numbers. If your division is deleted: You may transfer to another division, or Receive a refund minus deposit, or Transfer the full amount to another future Empire tournament (if the transfer request is made at least 5 days before check-in). Special Start Time Requests Before registering, confirm that your team is fully available on all listed tournament dates. We cannot guarantee game time requests. All games may be scheduled between 8:00 AM and 11:00 PM, including playoffs and championships. Any schedule requests must be submitted in writing using the official online form at the time of registration. Requests must be submitted no later than 14 days before the event. Late requests are not guaranteed. If a schedule request is granted but requires additional field rental time or staffing, your team will be financially responsible for any extra costs incurred.
