For those teams playing at SHORTY HOWELL PARK, we just had a chance to evaluate the fields and have pushed back the start times to give us additional time to work on them in the morning.

14u games will be 1:30 in length.
For those teams at LANIER POINT PARK, we expect no delays to the posted bracket schedule.

EVENT RULES
The head coach of every team is 100% responsible for knowing our rules, and managing their team according to the rules that are posted on our website as well as our phone app.

TEAM GATE FEE
LANIER POINT
As individuals enter the park, they will pay an individual gate fee:
- Adults: $7.00 per person per day
- Seniors 65yrs+ & Teenagers 10yrs+: $5.00 per person per day
- Children under 10yrs: FREE
SHORTY HOWELL
Each team must pay a team gate of $160.00 by Friday at midnight. This can be paid online at our website, on the Southern Sports phone app, or via Venmo at @ southernsportsbaseball.

BLUE UMPIRE CARDS
During every game, umpires will keep a "blue card" that details your score and inning pitched. At the conclusion of the game, you will sing the card making it OFFICIAL. PLEASE make sure that this card has correct information on it BEFORE signing it. Changes are not made after these cards are submitted to the onsite director and posted, unless it is a data entry error when posting the information.

ROSTERS
Online rosters ARE required to be in our system prior to games beginning on Saturday. See "local" rules for more details.

ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
After this week's event, we will announce the SSP All-Tournament Team from the tournament. Coaches, Umpires, and On-site Directors will have the opportunity to nominate any player on any of the teams in their division. The deadline to submit names will be Monday at 6pm. Coaches can submit names of players from any team in their division. Southern Sports will make the final selections, from the list of nominated players, and the players will be announced mid-week.

COACHES AND PARENTS - DOWNLOAD OUR PHONE APP -
PLEASE have everyone on your team download our phone app at SOUTHERNSPORTSPROMOTIONS. All coaches, and parents who download the app for your team and sign up for alerts, will receive all weather related updates from Southern Sports as well as all scores, scheduling and bracket information. THIS WILL BE THE MAIN METHOD OF COMMUNICATION.
