PARENT/PARTICIPANT CODE OF CONDUCT
In consideration for allowing me and/or any child(ren) under eighteen (18) years old or legally incapacitated adult(s) (each, a "Participant"; and collectively the "Participants") for whom I am the legal parent/guardian ("Parent") to participate in any activity or event operated, sponsored, or provided by Philly Select Baseball ("PSB"), including, but not limited to, athletic training and performance activities and events, any travel to or from any activity or event, and any lodging at or in connection with any activity or event, (individually and collectively, "Activity"), I, for myself and on behalf of all my Participant(s) hereunder, all of whom shall be legally bound by this PSB Parent/Participant Code of Conduct, hereby agree as follows:
1) Parents are responsible for the conduct of any guests and/or spectators accompanying them ("Guests") while at any Activity. Parents and Guests will be positive role models & supportive fans of all involved in the Activity. They will not ridicule or demean Participants, other players/parents, coaches, instructors, or officials.
2) Parents, Participants, and Guests will comply with all city, county, and state orders and safety rules concerning the SARS-CoV-2 virus, also known as COVID-19 or the novel coronavirus ("COVID-19"). Parents and Guests will also comply with all safety rules and instructions from any PSB staff, team director, manager, or coach.
3) Parents and Guests will display and instill in all Participants and other players, the principals of good sportsmanship and team play.
4) Each Participant is expected to conduct themselves, on the field and off the field, in a manner consistent with good behavior and in a manner that does not adversely affect their respective organization's reputation, or the Participant's own integrity, reputation and credibility.
5) Parents and Guests will support the players, coaches, and league officials. Parents and their Guests will not attempt to "coach" or "officiate" during games and/or competitions
6) Parents, Participants, and Guests will conduct themselves in a manner that best serves the interests of the other players and coaches/team managers.
