As today's event moves towards our final games, and teams try and determine their chances to play in a championship game (or 3rd place game), PLEASE remember our process for determining the final seedings in each division. We have it listed below:
CRITERIA FOR SEEDING IN BRACKET PLAY (process does not re-start at any point)
1) Won – Loss record
2) Head to Head (utilized ONLY if two teams are tied. If more than two teams are involved in this
tie-breaker, this step will NOT be considered)
3) Runs Allowed
4) Run Differential (max = -7/+7)
5) Runs Scored
6) Coin Toss

HELMETS ARE ABSOLUTELY MANDATORY IN THE BATTING CAGES FOR ANY PLAYER!!
EVENT RULES
The head coach of every team is 100% responsible for knowing our rules, and managing their team according to the rules that are posted on our website as well as our phone app.
LANIER POINT - INDIVIDUAL GATE
$7.00 per adult per day
$5.00 per child over 10yrs old
under 10yrs is FREE
Cash, Debit/Credit, Apple Pay accepted
DACULA PARK - TEAM GATE is $75.00 (pay prior to first game)
Three Ways to Pay:

CASH - to the onsite director prior to your first game

BLUE UMPIRE CARDS
During every game, umpires will keep a "blue card" that details your score and inning pitched. At the conclusion of the game, you will sing the card making it OFFICIAL. PLEASE make sure that this card has correct information on it BEFORE signing it. Changes are not made after these cards are submitted to the onsite director and posted, unless it is a data entry error when posting the information.
ROSTERS
Online rosters ARE required to be in our system prior to games beginning on Sunday. See rules
ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
After this week's event, we will announce the SSP All-Tournament Team from the tournament. Coaches, Umpires, and On-site Directors will have the opportunity to nominate any player on any of the teams in their division. The deadline to submit names will be Monday at 6pm. Coaches can submit names of players from any team in their division. Southern Sports will make the final selections, from the list of nominated players, and the players will be announced mid-week.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Southern Sports Promotions, and all facilities we participate at during our events, have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on behavior by players, parents, and coaches. This includes, but is not limited to;
- possession of alcohol on park property
- use of foul language
- any type harassment towards players, parents, coaches, umpires, tournament officials, park staff
or others
- interference with games
Any individual who conducts themselves in an unsportsmanlike manner is subject to removal from the tournament, and from the park property, without further explanation. All head coaches are responsible for the behavior of their team. If it is deemed necessary, the head coach can be ejected from the game due to behavior of his/her players, parents, coaches, or team spectators. In extreme situations, teams can also forfeit games due to the behavior of their coaches, players, parents or team spectators
COACHES AND PARENTS - DOWNLOAD OUR PHONE APP -
PLEASE have everyone on your team download our phone app at SOUTHERNSPORTSPROMOTIONS. All coaches, and parents who download the app for your team and sign up for alerts, will receive all weather related updates from Southern Sports as well as all scores, scheduling and bracket information. THIS WILL BE THE MAIN METHOD OF COMMUNICATION.

ENTRY FEES
8uCP - $150.00 per team
8uKP - $175.00 per team
9u-12u - $250.00 per team
13u - $275.00 per team
14u - $295.00 per team
TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT IN THIS EVENT
All teams must pay in full to secure their spot in this event. If your team needs additional time to get a payment into us, we will hold your spot for 5 business days. After 5 business days, your team’s spot will be in jeopardy of going to another team that pays their entry fee before your payment.
TEAM & INDIVIDUAL GATE FEE
Some of our parks collect a gate fee as spectators arrive at their facility, and others will collect a team gate fee directly from the team. All teams will be notified the week of the the event as to which method will be collected.
1) Team Gate Fee - $75.00 per team
2) Individual Gate Fee - $7 per adult, $5 per senior, $5 per child 10 years and older, & under 10 years old is free.
FORMAT
We always try and divide teams into divisions that are representative of their playing level. This is typically SINGLE A, A/AA and/or AA/AAA divisions. Depending on the number of teams entered, priority will be placed on making the event the most evenly competitive tournament. All teams will play two pool games, and then the #1 and #2 seeds will play for the championship. If a division has 10 or more teams, the #3 and #4 teams will play a consolation game
TEAMS CHOOSE DIVISION (at registration)
Each team will select their team's classification on (Single A, AA, or AAA), and division. MAJOR teams are welcome in our events but MUST play one age group above their own, or play in their own designated MAJOR division.
AWARDS
RINGS for 1st and 2nd place teams in each division.
SCHEDULING REQUESTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME
Southern Sports Promotions makes every effort to accommodate a team’s scheduling request. Sometimes requests cannot be honored but we do consider ALL requests. Add your request to the registration form, or email requests to sspscheduling@gmail.com before the Monday prior to the event. Those requests must be received no later than 9pm.
IF THIS EVENT IS COMPLETELY CANCELED, TEAMS WILL RECEIVE A FULL CREDIT FOR A NEW FUTURE REGISTRATION. IF ANY REFUNDS ARE PROCESSED, AN ADMINISTRATIVE FEE OF $75.00 WILL BE DEDUCTED.
