Southern Sports "FALL BRAWL" Teams

We wanted to provide weather update information, especially to the teams that have not played with Southern Sports in the past.

As we get closer to tomorrow's tournament, the weather forecast has improved BUT please continue to listen out for any updates we may send in the morning.

When it comes to weather delays or cancellations, this is the exact way that we communicate to all of our teams. We will meet with each of our park partners very early in the mroning to confirm the current conditions. If there is a delay or cancellation, it will be immediatley communicated through our phone/email app alert system (the way you have received this message). VERY IMPORTANT: anyone can signup for the alerts via our phone app at SOUTHERNSPORTSPROMOTIONS. This is a great tool for all of your families so please pass this along!

If you do not receive any sort of notification by this method (or see a message on our website home page), all games are on as scheduled.

EVENT RULES
The head coach of every team is 100% responsible for knowing our rules, and managing their team according to the rules that are posted on our website as well as our phone app.

LANIER POINT - INDIVIDUAL GATE
$7.00 per adult per day
$5.00 per child over 10yrs old
under 10yrs is FREE
Cash, Debit/Credit, Apple Pay accepted

LANIERLAND - TEAM GATE
Each team will pay a team gate of $75.00 prior to the event. This can be paid online at our website, or Venmo (@ southernsportsbaseball)

BLUE UMPIRE CARDS
During every game, umpires will keep a "blue card" that details your score and inning pitched. At the conclusion of the game, you will sing the card making it OFFICIAL. PLEASE make sure that this card has correct information on it BEFORE signing it. Changes are not made after these cards are submitted to the onsite director and posted, unless it is a data entry error when posting the information.

Online rosters ARE required to be in our system prior to games beginning on Sunday. See rules

ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
After this week's event, we will announce the SSP All-Tournament Team from the tournament. Coaches, Umpires, and On-site Directors will have the opportunity to nominate any player on any of the teams in their division. The deadline to submit names will be Monday at 6pm. Coaches can submit names of players from any team in their division. Southern Sports will make the final selections, from the list of nominated players, and the players will be announced mid-week.

COACHES AND PARENTS - DOWNLOAD OUR PHONE APP -
PLEASE have everyone on your team download our phone app at SOUTHERNSPORTSPROMOTIONS. All coaches, and parents who download the app for your team and sign up for alerts, will receive all weather related updates from Southern Sports as well as all scores, scheduling and bracket information. THIS WILL BE THE MAIN METHOD OF COMMUNICATION.
