NO METAL SPIKES ALLOWED ON TEMPORARY MOUNDS
NO METAL SPIKES ALLOWED IN BATTING CAGES

DAILY GATE FEE
Each day everyone will pay a daily gate fee when entering the park. Once paid, you will have access to the other fields as well.
ADULTS - $7.00 each per day
KIDS 10+yrs - $5.00 each per day
SENIORS 65+yrs - $5.00 each per day
KIDS UNDER 10yrs – FREE

***There are two separate entrances at North Glynn Complex.
1) North Glynn Softball gate is located on the walkway between the complexes and past the batting cages. If your games are at the Softball complex, DO NOT ENTER THE BASEBALL COMPLEX GATE.
2) North Glynn Baseball gate is located close to the main entrance of the parking lot, and will be the most noticeable gate as you arrive.

***PLEASE READ
– all of these complexes are alcohol and smoke free.

TOURNAMENT T-SHIRTS
The pre-ordered t-shirts have taken the bulk of our t-shirt inventory. The remaining World Series t-shirts will be for sale, as quantities last, at both the Wainwright Complex and North Glynn Baseball complex. These shirts are typically sold out by Friday morning so please do not wait!!

SKILLS COMPETITION
-The skills competition will be at North Glynn Softball Complex. We estimate the beginning of the skills competition to start at approximately 8pm on Thursday, but it will depend on the flow of the Thursday games. There are no registrations for the skills competition. There will be three events with awards:
1) Fastest Man - 1 player per team will participate.
2) Around the Horn - this event will be a timed throw from home plate to 3B to 2B to 1B back to home plate (and repeat for a second time in the same session). Teams can have multiple players in order to maximize the number of players involved.
3) Fastest Bat - 1 player per team will participate. (Max Velo off the tee will be measured from 3 swings off the tee).

For teams that bring pins to trade, this can happen throughout the weekend but typically takes place during the skills competition as well.

PHONE APP
Please have ALL of your families download our phone app prior to the event in order to receive event information, weather updates, games scores, schedule changes and much, much more!! The phone app is SOUTHERNSPORTSBASEBALL. With Beach weather (scattered thunderstorms), all of your families will need to download/receive updates on the phone app., and it will help alleviate the coach’s need to communicate to everyone throughout the weekend.

BATTING CAGES - WAINWRIGHT COMPLEX (NO BATTING CAGES ARE AVAILABLE)
Once you arrive at Wainwright, there are no batting cages available to teams. Please come prepared with alternative methods of game prep. There are local fields nearby that you can always workout at if needed.

BATTING CAGES – NORTH GLYNN COMPLEX
The batting cages are located between the baseball and softball complex. There is limited space so please be respectful of other teams wishing to use the cages.

ROSTERS
Online rosters are required for all SSP events. If you need help either creating or managing your roster, we have "how to" directions on our main website. PLEASE READ AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR AGE GROUP.

BLUE UMPIRE CARDS
For each game, you will complete a blue game card with your line-up. At the end of the game, you MUST sign that the card is accurate with the score as well as your innings pitched. Please review that it is correct as this becomes the official information once it is submitted after your game. Unfortunately, we do not have time to start contacting teams once any potential errors are brought up after results are posted.

ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
After this week's event, we will announce the SSP All-Tournament Team from the tournament. Coaches, Umpires, and On-site Directors will have the opportunity to nominate any player on any of the teams in their division. The deadline to submit names will be Monday at 12pm. Coaches can submit names of players from any team in their division. Southern Sports will make the final selections, from the list of nominated players, and the players will be announced mid-week.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Southern Sports Promotions, and all facilities we participate at during our events, have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on behavior by players, parents, and coaches. This includes, but is not limited to, - possession of alcohol on park or school property - use of foul language - any type harassment towards players, parents, coaches, umpires, tournament officials, park staff or others - interference with games. Any individual who conducts themselves in an unsportsmanlike manner is subject to removal from the tournament, and from the park property, without further explanation. All head coaches are responsible for the behavior of their team. If it is deemed necessary, the head coach can be ejected from the game due to behavior of his/her players, parents, coaches, or team spectators. In extreme situations, teams can also forfeit games due to the behavior of their coaches, players, parents or team spectators.

We highly encourage pre-orders. At our just completed Mountain World Series, several sizes were sold out in the pre-order process.
We are placing the order for these shirts in the morning, so if you want to guarantee you'll get your sizes, order those tonight.
But the pre-ordering process will be available until a few days before the event.

More information to come about pin trading, skills competition, etc. in the coming days.

Come & play in the 4th Annual Southern Sports "COASTAL WORLD SERIES" on the Georgia Coast! The Southern Sports Coastal World Series will be played at the North Glynn Rec Complex, Mallery Park on St. Simons and Adam Wainwright Baseball & Softball Stadium and surrounding facilities.

ENTRY FEE
8u-10u: $625 per team
11u-13u: $725 per team
14u-15u: $800 per team

INDIVIDUAL GATE FEE
PER PERSON PER DAY
UNDER 12yrs: FREE

Teams must be ready to play Thursday morning at 10 am.

SKILLS COMPETITION & PIN TRADING
We will host pin trading and a skills competition with awards for each division and every category winner. Competitions to include the fastest man and team around the horn.

FORMAT
3 pool play games into a single elimination tournament. 
Bracket play will begin either Saturday afternoon or Sunday, depending on how many teams participate.

AWARDS 
WORLD SERIES RINGS for 1st and 2nd place teams in each age group.

STAY TO PLAY EVENT 
This is a "stay to play event". Any team traveling over 75 miles to play IS REQUIRED to stay in one of the tournament hotels. The majority of all area hotels and resorts will be options for teams.  

If a team chooses to opt out of the "stay to play" program (and make their own reservations), there will be a $250 per team fee to opt out with no exception.

A team will have considered to meet this requirement by booking 35 rooms (12 rooms a night x 3 nights).

We will make a determination on age groups by May 25. Do not book anything that doesn't allow you to cancel your rooms without a fee prior to that date.

SCHEDULING REQUESTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME
Southern Sports Promotions makes every effort to accommodate a team’s scheduling request.  Sometimes requests cannot be honored but we do consider ALL requests. 

IF THIS EVENT IS COMPLETELY CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER, OR A TEAM ONLY PLAYS 1, 2 OR 3 GAMES, BECAUSE OF THE EXPENSES OF RUNNING THIS OUT-OF-TOWN TOURNAMENT, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN.

TEAM ENTRY FEE CANCELLATION: TO RECEIVE A REFUND, TEAMS MUST CANCEL BY APRIL 1, 2024. PAYMENT IS DUE APRIL 1, 2024.
