Josh Dickerson Memorial Tournament

Hi everyone, due to the heat wave, we are working with our umpire association to ensure the officials are comfortable with the conditions they are working in. We have mutually agreed that officials can call balls & strikes from behind the mound (without gear) if they so wish, and one-man mechanics may be used in situations to allow the other official to properly hydrate, rest and get out of the sun temporarily.
Please continue to monitor your players throughout the day to ensure they are properly hydrated and staying as cool as possible. We will provide further updates if and when needed.
Description
Josh Dickerson continues to be an inspiration to many in the Seattle baseball community. Josh played for O'Dea HS and the Seattle Stars prior to passing away after a battle with cancer on July 26, 2012. Josh's story was told in the August 6, 2012 edition of the Seattle Times, and the Josh Dickerson Memorial Tournament is played in his memory every year.
