WCP Lewis & Clark College Camp Invite Teams

Excited to have you all out to Jerry Gatto Field this weekend.

1. Parking is at a minimum, so please encourage carpools if possible and share the parking map (in the Documents section of the App/website).

2. At the moment, we only have one Porta-Potty on sight, and do not have ADA bathrooms, so please make sure fans know that as well.

3. We will open the softball field (down the LF line from Baseball) for teams to warm up and throw on. Please keep in mind that it is a softball field and will have some limitations.

4. To ensure a cleaner warm up for both teams, I would like to have 30 minutes in the cages and 30 minutes for stretch/throw/D reps on the softball field for each team. Therefore, pre-game can start 1 hour before your game time. The team listed first on Drew's schedule will hit for the first 30 minutes and then the teams can switch. There are two full cages and you will need to provide your own balls for BP.

5. For the workouts conducted by our staff on Saturday, we will use the first hour for D reps and BP in the cages (we will provide balls). Each team will spend 30 minutes on D and 30 minutes in the cages, so please make sure guys are stretched and ready to go at the listed start time. We will incorporate throwing into the defensive drills, so guys don't need to throw beforehand.

6. Each dugout has a water bottle filler in it, so remind your guys to bring a water bottle to refill, as the temps are supposed to be high. Also, please keep seeds out of the dugouts.

7. We cannot have anything attached to the nets behind home plate, so please let your parents know. We will have a Stalker gun in the press box that your parents can download the Stalker app and connect to. This will allow them to add velos and spin rates to the video. We will also have room for tripods in the press box, if parents want to get video of the games.

8. As for the games, there is a 2 hour time limit and we will play three outs or 5 batters max, so we don't burn pitchers arms out and both teams can get their ABs in.

9. We will have ice in the press box, if guys want ice after games.

10. There are no concessions on site, so players and fans need to bring their own food. Please make sure that players don't eat food on the turf and that they throw garbage away.
