Good Evening Smoke Show!

Baseball bounties are a real thing. The cost of everything is way up this year. I am certain you are very aware. Due to the high costs of baseballs we are going to attempt a baseball bounty this tournament. Owosso has a beautiful property to play ball on. Surrounding that property in close proximity to all fields are wooded areas and farm fields with crops. As you can imagine, many baseballs can be lost in this enviroment. With the potential for every foul ball to cost the tournament $6+, I am putting a bounty on lost baseballs that are hit into these areas of $2. We are working out the details of participants collecting the bounties, but during our last tournament out there, over $100.00 worth of baseballs were lost. We are serious about tracking down these baseballs and are hopeful to encourage a few to make a weekend out of finding them.

Those with little brothers or sisters at the games may do very well this weekend if they want to chase a few baseballs out of the foilage!

Help us save a few bucks please! Coaches please help us spread the word!

Good Evening, Just a quick note about Homerun derby this weekend. At Owosso High School we will set up a Homerun Derby on the JV Softball field. It will run at different intervals throughout the day. There will be trophies for the winner of each division. Its first come first served, $5 gets you 10 pitches, and any tournament player can enter as many times as they like.

Its alot of fun, and we are hopeful everyone will go over and have a great time seeing who can hit the long ball the best. I bet you all will be surprised at who wins it all!

Hope to see you all there!

General Information

Sandlot Sports Zone is proud to introduce Sandlot tournaments into the Owosso Area.  We are not affiliated with any tournament or baseball organizations that ran tournaments in this community previously.  Owosso and the surrounding community is a beautiful place to spend a weekend playing baseball, and in recognizing that, we couldn't be more excited to be able to host your teams this summer.

We invite you to the quaint and historic small towns of Cournna and Owosso Michigan.  Here you will find great local fields that are well maintained, and a tournament that has high level competition.  Change is good, and if given the chance, we aim to provide the type of tournament that makes you want to come back year after year.
