Hello Coaches!
As we approach our 2nd Annual Shillelagh Fall Bash, I just wanted to give you a few brief updates:
1) the schedules have been published for each division;
2) we have tournament shirts that will be available for purchase at the tournament;
3) I will be sending out reminder notices for team registration fees, thank you to those who have already paid;
4) we will be selling raffle tickets at the tournament for 2 exclusive prizes:
a framed photo series of Miguel Cabrera with autographed miniature bat, as well as a full-size autographed Al Kaline bat.
Raffle tickets will be available for $25, and we are limiting it to 100 tickets sold.
5) I have attached the tournament rules for your review;
I would like to take this opportunity to all of you for participating in our charity tournament, especially those who teams are returning for the second time. It means a lot to us.
All proceeds from the tournament, including the raffle, benefit Ireland's Dream, a 501(c)3 non-profit charity that provides innovative medical therapies and sports participation for children with cerebral palsy.
Description
Our 2nd Annual Shillelagh Fall Bash is one of the first youth baseball tournaments available in Michigan. It gives coaches their first opportunity to evaluate their new team rosters, and gives kids a rare opportunity for fall ball. Trophy awarded to MVP of each championship team based on umpire voting during championship game. 1st place trophies and 2nd place medals awarded. All proceeds from the Shillelagh Bash will benefit Ireland's Dream, a 501(c)3 non-profit charity dedicated to helping children with cerebral palsy receive innovative medical treatments.
